The Parish News

***Attention***

Our world continues to struggle against the COVID-19 pandemic with alarming rates of new infections globally, nationally, and locally.

In light of the increasing number of cases in Monroe County, particularly in zip codes where our members and friends live, we have

followed the directions of health officials regarding the gathering of people during this time.

Please note that FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER, Redeemer Lutheran Church and St. John's Lutheran

Church will be closing their facilities for Sunday worship.  While we pray that such a measure will be temporary as we ride out

this current wave of infections, we are ever aware that we will have to take take this day by day, and week by week.  Please keep

abreast of re-opening plans in your weekly e-mail bulletin.

As we once again go into this "lock-down" and "social distancing" phase of our being, we will return to offering our weekly video worship each

Sunday morning.  That video will be mailed to your e-mail address, so please join us for worship by internet!  If you know of someone

who would like to receive this video worship, please contact the church office at  redeemer1549@frontier.com.

Please continue to follow all safety measures as outlined by the Dept. of Health, and know that you are all in my prayers and

thoughts daily as we walk the road of faith during these times.

In hope and peace,

Pastor Keith

The mission of St. John's is to be an open, loving community of faith in Jesus Christ. In thankful appreciation for God's blessings, we trust the Holy Spirit to guide us in spreading the good news through worship, witness, teaching, and service to God by working together locally and throughout the world.
